Terms of Service

Effective October 19, 2026.

1. Service and contracting party

judyrecords MCP is a judyrecords service that provides bounded access to court-record search and related account features. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and any organization you use it for. Notices to judyrecords may be sent to info@judyrecords.com.

Technical support is available at info@judyrecords.com. Enterprise and self-hosted inquiries are handled by LexPipe, a support partner. A self-hosted deployment requires a separate written agreement and is not included by default.

2. Accounts and organizations

You must provide accurate account information, protect access credentials, and use organization roles only for authorized personnel. Organization administrators are responsible for invitations, role assignments, and promptly removing access that is no longer authorized.

3. Subscriptions and payment

Plan price, billing interval, included searches, result limits, and renewal terms are shown before purchase. The service uses hard usage limits and does not charge automatic overages. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from your account; a cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and access continues until then. Upgrades take effect immediately with a prorated charge; downgrades take effect at the next renewal. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated at purchase. Taxes are added where applicable. If a payment fails, access to paid features may be suspended until the balance is paid. The amounts shown on the hosted payment page control the submitted transaction.

4. Court-record information

Court-record results may be incomplete, delayed, contain errors, or refer to a different person with a similar name. A name match is not an identity determination. Customers must independently verify records from authoritative sources before relying on them.

Not a consumer report

judyrecords and judyrecords MCP are not consumer reporting agencies, and search results are not consumer reports, as those terms are defined by the U.S. Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Do not use the service or its output for employment or worker screening, tenant or housing screening, credit or lending eligibility, insurance underwriting, government-benefit or license eligibility, or any other FCRA-covered purpose or adverse-action decision. The service does not provide permissible-purpose verification, consumer disclosures, dispute handling, maximum-accuracy procedures, or adverse-action support required of a consumer-reporting product.

5. Acceptable use and license limits

Use of the service is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy. No term grants bulk-export, redistribution, derived-dataset, sublicensing, or upstream-credential rights. Each search is subject to the request volume and result limits of your plan, and court-record content remains subject to its source's terms.

6. Privacy, suspension, and termination

The Privacy Policy describes how account, search, usage, and court-record data are handled. judyrecords may restrict or suspend access to protect the service, enforce plan or security limits, respond to legal requirements, or investigate prohibited use. Where practical, judyrecords will notify you and give you an opportunity to resolve the issue first. You may stop using the service and cancel at any time. Either party may terminate for material breach. On termination, account access ends, and data is deleted according to the Privacy Policy's retention schedule.

7. Warranties and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, judyrecords will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. judyrecords' total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim. You will defend and indemnify judyrecords against claims arising from your prohibited use of the service or its results. Neither party is responsible for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including payment obligations, disclaimers, and limits of liability, survive.

8. Changes

judyrecords may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date and, for paid plans, notified by email before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
